The latest update of Microsoft Security Essentials Update prevents remote use of the FM Server Admin Console. When tried from a remote computer that has always worked a long delay in "downloading" the appliation is noted and then much later an failure to open the Console is shown. I installed and restored the system (Windows 7) three times and each time the MSE was updated it failed. Each time I restored the system to the restore point before the installation everything worked fine again. The Console can be run by accessing the server by RDA and running the Console locally with the update but not remotely. Another Java utility (SuperContainer) also breaks and repairs with this processs.
Any other reports of similar problems?
